I have been reading up on the use of company logo's in videos but I can't come up with any definitive answer on whether or not it will get my video removed and even the possibility of being sued.

All I have found so far is 'nominal fair use' which is a bit to generalized to give me a definitive answer on the situation I will be using it in.

My situation:

I am creating a video in a dispute on how something was portrayed by Vice and other large websites/companies. In the video I would like to use their logo and a quote used by them in either their videos or websites.
Code:
ViceLogo.jpg
"quoted text here"

Anyone dealt with this before or have an insight?

Your best bet is to contact them directly and ask for permission. Just explain the video you are doing and they might grant permission. As long as you aren't making their business look bad or are direct competition then you should hopefully be ok, but you'll get a definitive answer from the company.

Yeah you do need permission or they could flag your video, I would just write "Vice" in white letters
