ive started a youtube for horror stories and im looking into creating ai generated stories and i have looked at various ai writing tools including the ones mentioned on this site, but chatgpt4 seems to be the best unless you can give me one that is as good as chatgpt or close enough?

i've read people on the forum that have said to use prompts for chatgpt but how do you guys create good prompts, what websites do you use if any to help create prompts for story writing for chatgpt?

If you are going to do fiction gpt4 or claude would be my choice.

Are you doing short fiction or full novels. I find that both are okay up until you reach the 60000-70000 word mark.

As well as promopt you want to understand things like the hero’s journal, save the cat, three act structure.

I think it’s nerdy novelist on YouTube that I watch and he has some good prompts. Especially around story structure

right cool thanks for that ill have a look at his channel

Not one prompt, but a long series of them to write a solid story. When creating a new part of the text, you need to remind it of the things that happened in previous chapters. Remember that ChatGPT has only 4K token "memory" window (32K for teams), so it has no idea what it has written before. The better solution is to use the AI tools with API access to GPT-4 Turbo. This model is able to "remember" up to 128K tokens, so it could definitely write a really long story. Of course, after that you will have to edit it manually to get a perfect result.

Chatpgt is good, regarding the prompts people create them they go trial an error with the prompts and then they share them.
I found two pages that can help you with some prompts and give you an idea how to create them.

For this one the propts are simple for my taste but don't know.

This page can give you more details abnout how to create the prompts and you can use them as example and modify them.

Hope this can help you writing stories using chatgpt.

Hi, you can try AI from Claude. It's free, but it generally products good gpt4-level text, sometimes even better.
What about prompts, it's simply necessary to describe as widely as possible and according to your parameters what you need. For example, you can assigning a role to an AI. If you need good text, then it makes sense to tell it to act on behalf of a professional writer, describing his skills in as much detail as possible.
