Using CakeSlice and Fake the referral

Hey guys,

I know that many of you guys here make use of GODcpa. But I am kinda new here and can't really afford the price tag of it. Anway, I read in a thread that you can make use of Fake the referral and Cakeslice to create a similar but inferior effect.

Heres my question:

For example, I have used Cakeslice to iframe and offer on own landing page. When I use Fake the referral to direct people to my own landing page, and when people fills out the iframed offer, will the affiliate networks still see the referral as the 'fake site' or the url of my landing page?

Sorry if this sounds kinda noobish, but I had the impression that since the iframed offer was on the affiliate page, no matter how i fake the refferral, the affiliate networks would still see the refferral as my landing page.

The iframe on your BH site will use the cparedirector URL with the magic number GET variable as the iframe src. (hxxp://whsite.com/offer.php?mn=123456)

You will need to have cparedirector running on your WH site with links to the offer being iframed.

So the end result will be that your AM will see your WH site as the referrer which has links to the offer. In the above example the referrer will be hxxp://whsite.com/offer.php.

Search for cparedirector in the downloads section by Brad.

I know how cparedirector works, its just that the cparedirector was meant for affiliate sites which have not been tampered with. I am using cakeslice to iframe the affiliate offer, making it slightly different. That was why I was wondering whether it still works.

Yes it still works.

That's how I do it.

I iframe a php redirect that redirects to the cparedirector url.

Right, so what you do is have a WH site with the same offer your are framing with cparedirector running on it. This your clean, untampered site.

Then when you use cakeslice, on a seperate BH site, change the src url in the iframe to the cparedirector URL on your whitehat site for that same offer.

Your affiliate will see the WH site which is a clean site with the offer as the referrer. They will never see the iframed page you used to get people to sign up.
