My friend was looking at some affiliate offers and he mentioned they are offering 1.00/2.00 per email lead. Currently he can create around 300-800 emails a day from hotmail/protonmail/gmx etc.

My question is this, what would stop my friend from just using his bot(Zennoposter + proxies) to create 100's of emails daily and then using them(with proxies) to sign up and complete the CPA action.

Here is what my friend was thinking.

1. Create a basic webpage on a aged domain and adding a few pages of content. Make it look semi-legit.
2. Add affiliate banner to front page
3. Using Zennoposter + proxies, create a bot that would open the homepage and click on the banner. This would set the referrer and make the traffic look more legit.
4. Bot would complete the form and confirm email address. To lower the conversion rate, sometimes the bot won't submit the form and bounce or click on another page on the website. Also, not all emails will confirm. Some will not, this will lower and randomize the success rate. Making it look more legit.

My friend was also thinking about starting off with around 10-20 successful submissions a day, then building up to around 100ish a day.

Ethics aside, is this something that could work? or would they catch on instantly and ban his ass lol.

Just asking for a friend ;)

Not instantly but quickly enough. If there's no activity on the accounts after registration, or they dont get a roi, the advertiser will simply kick you out of thr offer. It happens even with legit traffic.

Besides, you will have a problem obtaining proxies. You either make some grey hat solution to harvest residential ips(utilities, shady browser extensions) or you have to do very blackhat illegal shit.

Dont do this, if you really want to cheat the system you need a more sophosticated approach.

Networks aren’t stupid, you an many others have had the same ideas and even better. But to simply answer your question if the traffic isn’t converting (which it won’t because it’s fake) they’ll kick you out.

As someone else mentioned, they even do this with legit traffic.

It'll work for a short while, but then networks will simply ban you. So I guess you could hop between different networks alternatively somehow make fake accounts.

It's not worth the hassle btw, rather spend your time and money on generating real traffic ;)

Lol

Think networks are that's dumb?

Thought about fingerprinting,IPS etc etc?

No? Thought so

Using a proxy isn't that easy these days. they use some databases and can easily recognize some of ips. also your friend should a professional programmer to simulate a user's request very precisely otherwise they'll find out. I don't think it's impossible to fool these system but it isn't easy either and you need think about every small detail.

Actually, Yes I know about it and did think about it. Zennoposter allows you to change the browser fingerprint. Something I do when ever I create accounts.

I just didn't feel like writing a long winded post listing every detail. It was just a general question about something I have never tried but always wondered if it would work.

That's what I figured. But wasn't sure about it. I don't have a lot of CPA marketing experience.

Cheers.

I'm taking about fingerrinting including plugins canvas size etc... Does Zenni offer that vs the usual bs user agent change?
Then account for residential IPS etc...

Yes it does. I know exactly what you are talking about.

Something like this maybe worked in 2000 but we are in 2020 ... any stupid cpa platform will detect that ...

Fair enough, I'm guessing the lack of future engagements or sales conversions from all the leads would be a dead giveaway.

Well then you're all set.... Unless of course you don't have full residential IPS, make sure to have legit referers etc

Anyway a dumb idea as you won't get far with it.

But test and report back :)

I have a feeling the report would be....they banned my account and didn't pay me.

I think I'll just focus on learning legit CPA marketing.
