Using Blogger

While waiting for some cash to come in that i made over Xmas to buy some domains with, i want to start the new year by building more micro niche sites. Is it ok to use Blogger to make small blogs, say adsense or Clickbank friendly and make money from them?
Has anybody been successful using Blogger for niche sites?
Are they hard to rank if your keyword is part of the Blogger domain name?

I have some blogs well ranked for a years now... have been doing same SEO for them and for other sites, the only difference is that those other sites are mine, and will be mine forever...
