Hello,

Over the past couple of months there have been an influx of threads discussing ghost followers and how to rid them in order to improve engagement. I'm curious, how many people have tried the "block followers" function on Jarvee. Under User Filters there are the options to block followers both on "Do not block likers" and "do not block commenters". For both of these settings, you are able to choose based on the past X number of posts.

For example, say you've posted 30 times over 2 months. You can have the bot block scrape followers that have not liked or comment on one post over the past 2 months and begin to block them. This seems like a great way to deal with ghost followers and really easy way to improve engagement.

Has anyone tried this method?

Thanks,
King

I only do that in combination to people who are following over a certain amount of people. I believe I have seen about 1-2% increase over the past few months, but my content and posting strategy has also changed so its hard to tell.

It works well, but warning, if you have more than 1000 likers / commenters you cannot scrape them all so you could block some incorrectly. The best way to do it is via regular ACTIVITY scrapes as you can get all engagement then, but would need to been doing it for 2 months to know who has not engaged in other 2 months

Thanks RootJazz,

Do you know if there is a reason why you can't scrape them all? Is it just because of the sheer quantity? If so, maybe i'll reach out to the developer of Jarvee to see if they can implement this feature. I'm currently in the process of converting a 50k hiking themed account to a personal account so over time I'd like to slowly remove the "hiking" followers that no longer engage with the new style of pics.

Thanks

ISG doesn't provide any more than 1000 likers per post. Just isn't possible to scrape more. If you tried it on your phone and counted, after 1000 ISG doesn't show any more. There isn't anything I or Jarvee or any other bots can do about it.
