If your site is ranked 3rd and there is not much you can do to optimize. you can perform some blackhat tricks on your competition to drag them down. true? :cool:

do you know of any techniques to prevent someone using blackhat on yoursite?
 
It's not even blackhat. It's just miserable. :) Anyway, if the first 2 sites are old and estabilished, It'll be pretty hard to throw them out with BH linkbombing or anything similar.. Might end up just boosting them :) Dunno if it's worth it.
 
are there any other ways to throw them out if not BH, aside from improving your site...? :)
 
There is one way you can make your competitor look bad ..even when a website is ranking

well on the top 10..of course It does require a hand from the outsourcers..and get ready to buy IP's for the task....just know that Google is not satistfied if the searcher is not satisfied..let me know if you want further details on this..let me know

Seems to me you are following a false assumption. If you are number three, it is pretty obvious that site one and two are doing something different or extra than you. Instead of figuring out how to tear them down, try find what they are doing different than you and then do what they did better.

use your time to consolidate you 3rd position and you will see on long run you will rank higher.

if you waste time trying to destroy your competition think the guy on 4th place could be work to reach you position.

So worry with yourself and leave the "bad feelings" away...
 
I thought everything was permitted. What is the point of being a black hat if you can't use dirty tricks. The only ethics a blackhat should have is with their peers, for instance, not distributing virus on this forum nor use the knowledge against their friends.
 
Youre missing the point Polo. Do anything you want BH/WH, but keep in mind what youre trying/going to achieve. It's much much easier to go from 3 to 2 than knock someone down 2 to 3. So what would you focus your energy on?
 
I think using black hat is fine to pruduce results for your own website, however using these kind of techniques on other people is well....a question of ethics you must ask yourself
 
hey everyone in only interested in money. this is not fair enough. just feed your kids and let them feeds there kids.
 
Spend more time making your site look good and less time trying to make others look bad :-) If first few sites are old and known, I really doubt you will bring them down.

Of course, everything is possible; just be creative and it's possible that you'll make to it to the top :-)

Not sure I understand your logic. Why not just improve your site?:confused:

Do 5% more than the other 2 websites and you will be in the number 1 spot! ;)

get them locked up in jail...why should blackhat just have to be restricted to online pursuits?
