Using Bing Adcenter Coupon Question -- Please read

Greetings, all.

I have set up 2 Bing Adcenter accounts. One under my google email (connected to bank account) and one under my yahoo (connected to my paypal account, which is connected to bank account). I am looking to open a 3rd account now (each account has had 250+ worth of coupons). My question is, should i avoid putting this one under my name, too? I need advice on this. My main worry is being tracked down by bing and them wanting me to pay for the coupons I have used or something. Need some insight here, please..

I assume Adcenter only bans when they discover multiple accounts from the same IP, but I'm still worried about the possibility of legal problems. Has anyone heard of any legal action from Microsoft over using coupons? I mean, they are legitimate coupons. Surely I can't find myself in legal trouble because I've used ~$500 worth over two accounts, can I? I also have a link saved from a Microsoft forum where someone asked a Microsoft employee if they were allowed multiple accounts, and the reply was:

"I apologize for my delay to respond. You can go both ways: Create two separate accounts or have one account with two different campaigns.

As long as the URLs for each account or campaign are not identical there shouldn't be a problem.


For easier management I recommend to go with one account only and have two different campaigns."

So as long as I'm promoting different websites I'm in the clear, right?

On Microsoft's website I found this:



Number of allowed accounts
You can have as many as six separate accounts. The maximum number of accounts is subject to change by adCenter if it is suspected that someone might be fraudulently using your credit or debit card.
Inactive accounts do not count toward the maximum number of accounts.
Each adCenter account must have one credit card that is used for billing. You can use the same credit card for a maximum of three accounts.
You can use a different credit card for each account.



My question remains.. Will I be banned using more coupons on another new account? Being banned and losing the $20 I spent on the coupons doesn't bother me. It's facing (potential?) legal problems that bothers me. Still need some insight here!

I imagine they don't like it when the same person is using coupons over multiple accounts, as I tried that once on a couple accounts. Granted, I was doing $250 in coupons on each account.

As far as legal trouble, there won't be any. They'll just shut down your account, no email no nothing, you just won't be able to log in. At least that's how it was for me.

I've had one account go down like that after promoting a CPL offer during Black Friday. I was trying to get people to fill out for a "free ipad". 5m after posting that ad i was unable to log back in hehe. I still had $70 worth of remaining coupons on the account too, which sucked. But yeah, that's good. It's just the thought of legal problems arousing that worries me.

Yeah main trademark keywords will get your account banned straightaway in any ad network, you must show that you have "permission" to use those trademarks under any agreement.
