Using an Image Map in Wordpress Theme.. HELP PLEASE!

Okay I really need help with this. I am trying to use an image map to make the top right side of my wordpress blog clickable and I am am going through hell with this. I am using image-maps.com to generate the code... and I know you're supposed to put the CSS code in the style sheet and the HTML codein the header.php fiel... but I don;t where to put them.. everything I domakes my blog get scrambled! Please help.. wehre do I put the image map code at in the CSS style sheet and the header.php?I mean wherein those files do the codes go?
