Using AI For Stock Trading

I've been playing around with a new concept I had not that long ago.

I had a buddy of mine build out an AI to trade stocks for me. It looks conditions in the market, don't ask me what they are because I have no clue, I basically just funded the project.

I still have to place the trades manually but so far it's been actually killing it. Basically the bot will send me a telegram notification when it's time to enter and close out trades. It also provides Take Profit and Stop Loss positions. But many times it will tell me to exit before SL or TP is hit.

I've made 9 total trades so far. 5 Have been closed, 4 are still open.
So far the record is 4-1 with an average gain of 15.77%

But, you are dealing with options.. They could just go to 0 and you are down significantly... I wouldn't mind watching the trades if I can get an invite if you post it to a group chat. Been looking for something similar.

Yeah it does deal with options sometimes. It also sends me SL and TP on them to ensure I get out in time if it is going to fall below 0.

Also the options are usually on 2 weeks to 6 months out.

With 15.77% gain in 2 weeks, and starting with $100, you are going to be the richest man on the planet in 2 years.
Better keep this secret for yourself :)

As stated I'm sure it's just a lucky first few weeks.

Also I only use roughly 3% per trade of my total portfolio.

So if you do the math let's assume I have $10k balance:
- 3% of portfolio, which is $300
- 15.77% of that $300, which is $47.31 average per trade.
- 5 Trades so 5*$47.31, which is $236.55
- $236.55 / $10,000, which is 0.023655
- Convert to percentage looking at about 2.36% actual gain

Hardly going to make me rich, not to mention capital gains tax here in the states.

Not sure I assume it'd be possible, but I don't see a point in this right now as everyone using it is USA based.

Just that sometimes the other stock markets tend to be much better to make profits at since their trends can be easier to spot compared to larger stock markets like nasdaq etc which has too much activity both local and foreign

This all is a bit complicated to me. Do you think you can suggest me if a newbie like me can start it and where to start?
I can give 2-3 hours of my day to learn trading skill. This seems like a good skill.

Depends how you look at it right. 16% of $1,000,000 is $160,000.

Obviously I don't have $1,000,000 per trade but 16% for 12 day holding is quiet nice in my opinion and I was very happy with the trade.

It is a journey, I am discussing my journey with following this AI stock bot advice.
