I am new to the whole affiliate scene and I think I did something wrong. I set up an account on commission junction and got approved to advertise for godaddy.com. I got approved to put the add on facebook, I set the budget for $25. I got 90 clicks i started it monday morning and it ran for 2 days. I invested $50 into and do not see any commissions yet. I was thinking that I may of got a few sales and that it would take a few days to show my earnings.

Can anyone help me out with this? thank you

Just my 2 cents here, I've done some limited advertising on Facebook and had okay results until I tried something to improve my results. It helped me and it's pretty simple. Talk to your facebook friends and ask them what advertising on Facebook they have clicked on or what ads have appealed to them or to just pay attention over the next couple of days to what ads they like. It's like a little focus group. I asked about 50 of my friends, men and women and various ages and tried to determine what appealed to them all, to just men and to just women.
I took those results and went and found the affiliates that fit those results, created my ads and ran them by all my friends and got their feedback. Made the necessary tweaks and then started my new ad campaigns. My clicks increased and my conversions went up dramatically.
    Good luck!

Facebook ads have notoriously low conversion rates, especially on ads that require payment. This is why they always have so many free coupons for new advertisers. Even with good targeting I've found their ad network pretty much useless, so I don't even use them anymore, even when I can get pretty cheap coupons from folks.

I think I know where I went wrong. I am advertising for godaddy.com. Godaddy has very good long models that advertise for them. I think people were clicking on my add just because there was a hot chick on it and they wanted to see more. So I paid for 90 clicks and not one person bother to buy website hosting or any domains.
