Using affiliate links in Facebook ads?

I just signed up for an affiliate program to promote a SEO software.
I'm planning to user Facebook ads.
Can I direct linking using my affiliate url?
My affiliate link is like this: merchant website url + my affiliate ID

Does it violate any FB rules?

These are such newbie questions. But please help.

I don't think you are allowed to use it. Simply create a landing page and then forward it to your affiliate product. You may get higher conversion rate if you do it properly!

I think this will cost too much for the ads
