Using adwords to promote amazon product?

Is it possible to promote my own amazon product with google adwords?
I've been reading that this may violate either amazon or googles TOS, but I'm still unclear.

I've also been reading that sending users to a bridge page also violates googles TOS. What constitutes a bridge page? When is a landing page not considered a bridge page?

If someone could help shed some light on this and even provide resources, that would be awesome.

I have never tried but I would assume this would be the same with all affiliate products.

If you have a landing page or site with good content and not a large amount of affiliate links you should be ok.

If you direct link that would be an issue.....Google hates affiliates for some reason

I'm not planning on doing anything with affiliates. I plan on pointing the search ad directly to my amazon product page. Does anyone have experience with this?

You can always ask Adwords, but my gut reaction is that they will shoot you down because this is direct linking.

It's not allowed.

But instead of taking other's opinions, seriously just ask them.

So I contacted support and they seem to have no issues with it. They even said advertisers do it all the time.
I guess we're good to go

They told you it's ok to direct link an ad to Amazon?

Yup, said it was perfectly fine. I'll contact them again tomorrow to double check.
