I do have a theory about this but really only when it's tied into big conversion tracking. Say you received 500 calls per day, but Google only knew about 1-5 of those conversions. They'd think you spent a lot more than you earned. These days I try to be less timid with the numbers, because it's too hard to manage 100+ campaigns without a little risk and a lot of tracking. They don't and can't know everything. Actually Google is somewhat of a joke. As a company. I've had first hand experience, complimented by every Google 'expert' I've spoken to. They are a crap show! Seriously! They delegate these groups of 3-5 people to manage all of these tiny departments in Google. And then, none of them communicate with each other. It's really bizarre and through a lot of monthly cost I've had a great personal experience with them to conclude they are a joke. Just saying.
Thanks for your two replies, I really appreciate it!
I have loads of eCommerce websites, none that are linked together, seperate entities if you will. Some are in a similar niche, others not. For example - eCommerce site 1 - Kids hates, ecommerce site 2 - kids gloves, and so on. Some are spread over different hosting plans, but similar WHOIS data. These are high quality Magento2 sites with lots of work put in, not run of the mill rinse and burn Shopify jobs.
Those are some great tips, I feel i DO need to do what you wrote and make them more official. Thank you!
For years I've been afraid to link together OR run Adwords incase I sink the entire setup.
Business was going great, but recently it's really up and down with G's algorithms, so I'm thinking about doing Adwords.
Part of me hopes you're right and Google are incompetant, and I start an Adwords campaign and it goes well. I genuinely believe this might be the case.
Once again, thanks for taking the time to reply.
