Usually the keywords we try to rank for local businesses for example: "dentist in Los Angeles" have a super high CPC , like 15$ , wouldn't it be a good idea to rank for this type of keyword with a website full of content and fill it with some adsense ads?

Is the keyword not super competitive? IMO if the websites is not tanking of google -3 . it most often wouldn't appear of SERP.

But it's a very cool idea doing such

Most local business would use the Adwords to rank and get traffic to the site until there site was ranked organic for the term and then most would cut that out and then go after a different term.

But just buying the Adwords is not going to help your site rank.

Really depends on what your end goal is and how hard it would be to rank for that term.

Its not super competitive, but not super easy. Yes the problem is a lot of companies pay for adwords and they take the first 5 positions more or less. Another problem is to write content for this, there's not much to write about a plumbing service in New York xD

Yes it a brilliant idea but your need pbn to get on page 1 .....

They cost ,but as said ,the keyword pays ....

So getting the cash wont be hard or long to even make a profit...

It all upto you and buget....

That's not what he's asking though :)

He doesn't want to buy adwords - he wants to rank a site, then put adsense on it and take advantage of the high CPC

somebody understood what he was asking, but yes, that does sound like a good idea. Me personally, I would rent it out to a dentist.

If it worked, I would probably be better of with the adsense earnings than with the rent, but its an option ofc. Usually when you do rank and rent , you build a site perfectly ready to be owned by someone else's business, this wouldn't be the case. Im just not sure if I have enough cash to rank this. Need to analyze my competition better, the first site was built by a Digital Marketing company, its not too strong, but they clearly know what they're doing.
