Using adsense for blogger

Hey,
so i have heard that you get a lot of money through placing adsense on blogs and then doing articles.

Is this really true??

Also for blogger should i use the monetize button to put adsense on the site or should i get my own from adsense?
And if i do monetize the my site with the blogger tool how do i track it...?

when you chose monetize they will prompt you to make an adsense account and if you already have one then just put in your details

I can make 10k blogspots but will I be banned for making 10k autoblogs and put adsense on it? What other things I can put on blogspots besides adsense?
