I bought a new cheap andriod for another Google acc for my ebay acc, but ivd used this phone with this Google acc but if i use a vpn or proxy, will anyone be able to trace all my other ips ive used including my real one?

Is there a way to completely wipe my phone so theres no trace of any ip or will masking my real ip with proxy or vpn, hide my previous addresses of will they be able to find out the previous ips, just from the new ip from the proxy or vpn?

It's just so that ebay or google can't delete my accounts, as ill be using the proxy or vpn for these new accounts.

It depends who you are trying to hide your IP/self from.

Regular websites, yes. By wiping the phone and using a proxy/VPN they won't be able to tell. Don't forget to change your web browser and geo-location too. Websites collect A LOT of data on you. Just because your IP is different, they can still tell it is you if your geo-location is where you normally sign on from, and if the web browser you use is the same and the language you requested the site in is the same etc. These all creates a matrix of who you are. Just because you changed one value in that matrix (the IP) doesn't mean they can't tell it's you.

Google and Google-linked sites like Ebay especially can detect who you are since their bots/algorithms that scan for spam will eventually pick up what you're doing and start asking for phone verification etc.

Also wiping the phone will be pretty pointless. Your IMEI stays the same, and so does everything else in the matrix used to identify you (apart from IP).

The hassle is not worth it OP.
If you really wanted to totally wipe all those settings, you need to flash a new ROM, change your Device UID, IMEI.
You really need to use your phone?

Use your 4G connection will be fine, no need to use the VPN or proxy, for amazon, eBay and other e-commerce sites are friendly to 4g IPs.
If you use wifi connection, I would suggest you use a VPN, And the datacenter IP is not good for eBay, try to get a residential IP for that.

A website can trace an account's IP dating back years.

The IP is given by your SIM card, so if you bought a new device, use a new SIM (do not use your home connection) and as mentioned above, you won't need a proxy or a VPN.

You don't need to do a hard reset (wipe your phone) if you use a different SIM card. While websites can detect what screen and device you use, they won't really enforce any measures on it.
