So.. Part of my offline package includes optimizing Google Places.

Now, some of my clients have 0 reviews and would like to get them 5 reviews to give them a "star" rating.

I was wondering if using a geo located VPN service like Hide My Ass to post fake reviews (would drip them once a week to look) would work out okay?

I already give my clients QR codes included with the package to let clients leave reviews, but sometimes that doesn't always work.

I'm pretty new when it comes to dealing with proxy's and VPN/VPS systems. Is this even safe? I know google is one sneaky bastard..

    Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

Look at the Google Panda update, it ruined many sites and SEO companies. My suggestion is to always put your "experiments" ahead of your bread and butter clients.

Meaning try to post fake HMA reviews on some test sites first. Let them get age and monitor them constantly to see any negative impact. Then when you feel comfortable do the same for your clients. Your initial beta project acts as your first line of defense. If you notice your rankings drop for your experiment then you know your clients site will soon be impacted the same way and you can do the best you can to prepare.

You can apply this strategy with many seo and internet marketing concepts.

The bottom line is this: Always try the new experimental drug on the lab rat before you try on the human.I hope this helps.

IF you will use dynamic ip which will automatically change your ip address each time you log in or it can also be set to automatic change of ip from client then you can use to put review everywhere around the web. But better is to not to keep posting on continuous basis because you may be track as suspicious
