Using a stealth name for co-op current account

Is it okay to put down a fake name when registering for a current bank account for lets say the coop ,
I do know last time I checked that they didnt require any documents or id when signing up


Another question is in regards to smile.co.uk, can you use that as your bank account on amazon uk to put funds into? and once again can you use stealth information to open up an account with smile.

I opened a basic account with co-op and as far as I can remember they did not require any documents and when I went into the bank to change my address once again they did not ask for documents just answer to security questions I set up when singing up. But with all that said if they do a credit check then they might get you that way, please note they do check electoral roll I do know this. Hope this helps
