I haven't tried out using a merchant account yet, but I'm thinking of doing so. If I was to sell replicas of non electronics, more under the radar items, and I got caught, would consequences be any worse than if I just had a Gaypal account?

If you wanna to sell on ebay, then nothing will catch you. Simply they will suspend your ebay account. Or I don't understand what you want to do exactly.

don't use gaypal and egay. it holds your money for 21 days or until the buyer gives you positive feedback. not sure if alertpay still works, check that out.

get an offshore direct merchant processing account for your replica processing needs , I suggest activemerchant.com but they ask for the documents and you need to provide them and they get you hook up.

the 21 day hold on pay pal is easily reduced to only about 3 days. all they want to do is make sure it is shipped and delivered, get delivery confirmation or tracking, once you know it is confirmed delivered, call pay pal, they will check delivery confirmation and release the funds.

What do you mean by you are hook up, i dont understand... Can you open a paypal pro account, or on activemerchant, with fake name and fake id? (Just have to fake your passport on photoshop pretty easy i think?)

I plan everything on my web and its true the payment gateway, is my main problem, i need a payment gateway, where my money is safe, and my identity aswell... how can i do?

Domestic based Replica merchant accounts are illegal (domestic = US) as trademark infringement is illegal. A US based processor will refer you, if anything, to another offshore processor who has a direct relationship with a bank.

You will be responsible for producing:

processing statements
articles of incorp / proof of ownership
potential incorp fee in the country where the new account is set up
rates of 7%+ and .50 cents per transaction (or more)
and the extreme likelihood that the bank, processor, or any other factor will shut that MID down because the trade is illegal and laws change constantly.

Activemerchant guys are Fraud, search "activemerchant reviews" and you should get your answer pretty clear.

You could go to prison if caught, if you notice when you list items now on ebay it says if they are counterfeit THEY WILL report to the police. So be careful!!
