Hi all, I'm very new to this community so wanted to say hi first! Posting because I started using 4k Stogram to mass download images, including on private profiles, and I was wondering if there was any risk of Instagram finding out and banning my account or notifying the other user that this happened.Cheers

hi there and welcome on BHW....Answer on your question is yes. Why? cause every photo have it metadata and exif data so instagram always knows where the photo come from if you dont take care of that ofcourse.first of all you need to be sure you purifie your photos after you download them(batch purifier is doing job for me).Second but much less what you need to worry about is that the owner of photo report photo and proof its his(few photos) than your profile will be in trouble too.but i didnt saw this happen so much...

Thanks for the response bozopolic. So unless I upload the photos and they see it and the metadata, they won't get notified that I downloaded the photos in the first place, even if its a private account? I'm just wondering if Instagram has a system for tracking data to see if someone used something like 4k Stogram to mass download a persons photos after youve logged into the service
Cheers

If you have an old Instagram account then, I don't think Instagram will ban you or you'll get any problem with Instgram. If you have old and active account then, you don't have to worry.

Yes if your downloading someones images from instagram and then reposting them, you could end up getting into trouble with the account. If your just running spam accounts then it's not that big of a deal as they will get burned anyways after a while, but if your using them to build up main, long term accounts then I would not do that.

Ignore everything you just read. If you are reposting any photo normally..e.g not repeat uploading the same pic (spamming)..why the hell are you talking about meta data, clearing footprints of photos etc.. If you re upload then just fucking upload the photo. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO YOU OR YOUR ACCOUNT.

Da fuck is wrong with this planet

Hi everyone, sorry if my post was confusing. I haven't uploaded anything yet. my question was more about the program 4k stogram and if, if you sign in through your account and download photos from a private account, does instagram track that you downloaded the photos and if it notifies the user you downloaded photos from that you had done this.
Thanks
