For the past few hours I've been researching whether or not it would be suspicious to do so. The argument is that since you're on a mobile connection they would expect you to be on a mobile platform. I've seen mixed opinions. I personally feel like it shouldn't be too big of a red flag, because people use hotspots and such, but I lack experience. If anyone has experience with this I would love to hear your thoughts.

No I mean it's exactly the same as making a hotspot from your phone and connecting to it with your PC. Many people who don't have wifi do it, it's commonplace.

Shouldn't be any issue these days due to the prevalence of people hotspotting and even using 4G / 5G as their main home internet connection.
You will want to make sure that you're not leaking your actual IP in any other way however (via DNS or WebRTC for example).

I use mobile hotspot when I'm traveling. No issues whatsoever. People also run social media accounts on desktop user agents using 4g proxies.
