I've searched for days on BHW and Google with no luck, hopefully you can help me out. I apologize if this is in the wrong area.
I run a few websites and have an affiliate who offers a ppc affiliate. I was excited to see my first month I sent him 9200 clicks (all white hat, no tricks) and I was thinking "PAYDAY."
Well I know how they report and they sent me mine and Google Analytics said something like 2408 sessions and that's what they pay on.. sessions. Fair enough, I looked up what the difference was between the two and realized it was my fault for thinking that and it is not his fault I did not understand.
My question(s) to you are:
1.) Are there ways to force new sessions when users click on links?
2.) Are there ways to look like my website is sending sessions? (Bots, etc)
I need to figure out a way to create more sessions or send him "fake" sessions that show they are from my website. All he does is look up "sessions from x website" and that's how he pays.
I don't necessarily want to game him so hard that I make too much money, but getting closer to the amount of clicks I send him would be really nice.
Any tips or suggestions would be great.
