I was wondering like imgur, and other image sharing website, how do they handle copyright images? Will you be sue by lawyers all over the world ,as any random people upload copyright image and it hosted on your website. Any way to protect yourself as the webmaster?

Regarding watermark, If i provide an option to auto watermark the uploaded pictures, watermarking copyright photo, is like vandalizing in the eye of law??

How about when users upload girls photo? I heard it's something related to invading privacy.

    Hope to clear my doubt.
    Thank you

Put a disclaimer on your website stating the user that uploads copyrighted content is responsible and you (yor website) has nothing to do with it.

And most times people will contact you first and ask for something to be removed so just removed it in a timely manner and you should be fine.
