Used Hybrid Connect plugin for optin forms?

Hi,

It's a great plugin, I'm loving the look of what it makes, but I'm having a problem.

It won't display on my WordPress site. I think this is my theme's fault as I've had difficulty getting shortcodes and other things in my pages to work.

Hybrid Connect gives me two options - a short code to use on my pages, or a theme code to use in the editor area.

I do not want to use the theme code in the editor area (footer, header, page index, etc) at all.

I want to manually place the optin on my pages, but the shortcode it provides does not work either.

Can anyone suggest a way to get not a shortcode, but the HTML code instead? That is what I really need.

Test the Hybrid Connect widget in the side bar first before you conclude it might be your theme.

I did, unfortunately does not work there either.

I know this isn't going to be a helpful post but I'm wondering if you could pm your thoughts about HC. I am thinking about making a purchase but I don't want to waste my money if there are better programs/plugins out there that will get the job done better. Thanks in advance!
