Used coupon, but account not active

Hi,

I used a $50 coupon to credit my adwords balance. The status of my campaign shows that my campaign is eligible, however I'm still getting the message my account is not active because I didn't give my billing details. Does anyone know whether I'm required to give my billing details, even though I selected "manual payments" (meaning my ads won't show anymore if my balance is zero), and used a coupon?

On another topic, does anyone know how to check if your campaign is working? Considering Google uses the bidding system, I may have set a to low bid for my ads to show up in google.

Edit: Already figured out how to see if your ads are showing. For those who don't know yet: Go to your adwords campaign details, click on "keywords" and it'll show if your ads are showing based on your keywords, and if not, it'll tell you why not.

you can't active with voucher.you need vouche+vcc

extra00 - you dont know what you are talking about. Of course you can activate acc without credit card.

I know,you can but you will be ban because nothing like billing address it is not on our policy .....
if you can do it without problem.please run my ads with voucher for cheaper price.I will pay for that

Whoa, extra00 is such an old bird in here, have you hear that people can sneaky using voucher without provide them a proper billing information, of course there are got banned ones but some did success, can you give us more tips how to run a success campaign, I'm lack of background experienced with Adwords

starting account just with voucher is allowed but im most of the cases google will suspend your account permanently beucause of huge number of accounts in last several months using only voucher. One solution is to load vcc and transfer minimal amount 10$ if your account is in USD. They say in manual that transfering money to account means that you are serious advirtiser and you are not just next one that wants to use free advertisement.

Ensure also that yo entered real address, name and phone because google sometimes checks billing information and that is one reason to suspend account if they can't get in touch with you using billing details
