Used about 4 programs, no backlinks? wtf

So, I've been using programs like senuke, no hands seo and numerous others to get backlinks and absolutely zero are showing up. I've had unique articles written and posted to dozens of blogs with senuke, nothing. Every backlinks checker I try, says my sites have NO BACKLINKS. The only one that is showing is one i manually posted on some crap blog last week, just to test it. What the hell am I doing wrong?

Also ping them or use Lindexer or Nucler Link Indexer so your links will be indexed fastly .
 
Thanks seo. Where can I get info in Lindexer? Couldnt find any. Also, I've spent enough money on services, is there a free alternative to nuclear link indexer? cheers
 
You are doing nothing wrong... If you go and check some of my sites, you will find no backlinks. But despite that, they sit on the top of the SERPS. And yes, they have many back links.

Check if your rankings improved after what you have done, that is what matters. Page rank and this backlink checkers are good just for analyzing competition or for people who are too bored to do something else.
 
What are you using to analyze your backlinks? I have the same issues sometimes, I throw links etc and nothing happens. No movement. Annoying, but I guess giving it a month or soo, things might happen...

I use majestic seo and a couple of web sites that do free backlink checks on any url while bombarding me with "you need our backlinks service sign up here" messages. Pretty sure one of my sites has been up for a month or close to it...still no backlinks...yep pretty frustrating.

Thanks for info. That would be comforting if I knew my sites were actually moving. All my sites have a 0 ranking when using the chrome add on (seo quake I think). Does this mean its even ranked? If not, what does it mean when there's a ? showing?

I have 1,451 apparently! So I guess I will stop going by the dodgy sites and chrome plugins. Can someone look at the link I posted and tell me their opinion on those stats. I know most of those links are going to be shit, but do you think I might ranking soon? What if I bought some good edu/gov backlinks? TBH the keyword is a bit of a toughy I think. I'm not bothered about getting to #1. This is really an experiment. I'm merely trying to learn how it all works. If I get ranked I'll be happy!

I have been using Nuclear link crawler for Indexing.Their free account is limited to 5000 links per day which is sufficient in my case.check it out yourself

Looks like maybe you got 5-10 links that may possibly be of use, but probably not, probably better off with zero links than what you have. Definately would not build links with whatever you used again. Seems to be a complete waste imo.

Heh, was a slight over exaggeration. But seriously, I'd look at a different method and get some links that actually have some power... Looking at your high deleted rate, I'm sure more and more will be deleted as time goes on as well.
 
Yeah I thought they were pretty crap. zmoney how would you go about getting decent links? Buy them? Hire someone to post on edu blogs etc?
 
Dont know, havent figured that one out myself yet :)

You are absolutely doing nothing wrong bro. Backlinks could take time to get indexed that is why people are advising you to use a pinger to notify Search Engines of the links. Moreover, there are no perfect "backlinks check" software that can list 100% of you backlinks.

Just like what the other comments posted, a positive (or negative) change in the SERP is a better factor to determine whether a campaign is a success. :)
