use paypal for crypto

whats the purpose of buying verified paypal account. I know it means it has been verified by bank. But when I buy that account, don"t I need to add my bank account and then it would need to verify that?

I want to buy paypal account which I don't want to link my bank account and don't want it under my name as well. Someone else will send money to that account and then I will use that account to buy crptyo currency. Then using some Crpto ATM machine or app I will withdraw funds.

You can create a PayPal account or buy one not linked to you.

Why would one buy an account? Sorry am new..
