Not sure how many of you know this but dwolla now offers transactions under 10$ completely free. Anything above that is 25 cents, flat fee.

Could save you alot of money.

    Just sharing.

Doesn't really matter. It will slowly rise and eventually (should) exceed the daily transactions that PayPal does. PayPal did tons of business with eBay, but eBay is dying now and PayPal has caused so many horror stories for so many users.

Don't forget that Dwolla is the same company Richard Branson just invested $300,000,000 into about a month or two. It's new and still has a long way to go.

OP, thank you for this info. I do tons of smaller transactions, under $10 and between paypal charging me 2% plus the .30 cent fee per transaction, this will save me a lot of money. Not to mention not being raked the 2% on my transactions for more than $100 that I get daily.

I am currently using alertpay and moneybookers. Never heard of dwolla, the way everyone is appreciating the site seems to be a good one. It will be popular if lots of websites like freelancing and affiliate network accept it as a payment option.

Moneybookers is a very good alternative, transaction fee is 1% and max 64c, though withdrawal costs a bit, and they offer mastercards for everyone for a small fee per year.

Damn, sounds like a deal. Only wished they had more members using it. Most people are right though, sadly paypal will still be the top option for years to come.

Paypal competitors will provide better rates, thats understandable but this does not mean that people will switch from paypal. Mostly because regardless of it's many problems and flaws, paypal has dominated the industry and trust of everyone online!
I don't think there will ever be another provide who will out do them.

Did anyone really read how it works. Yeah it is great in theory but who wants to buy something online only to have to go to a location to make the actual payment? I like the idea but the last time I looked, you actually had to go to a brick and mortar store to make a payment, not good for online businesses.

I knew it was $0.25 per transaction but had no idea that it was free for under $0.25, this business definitely has potential :)
