I'm using the GSA proxy scraper (a good tool).
However, I have never tried to use the Public proxies for account creation or browsing the web or scraping to not leave any footprint, even though they are mostly premium ones and anonymous but they die quickly.

*Now is there anyone to tell me what can I use the anonymous, elite public proxies for?

Most probably they are good for automated tasks and bots. Not for browsing.

Just to hide your IP. Use them on something like keyword research tool.

Public proxies are good for any task that doesn't involve account cretion/login/automation.

As long as you do not need an account for your task (automated or manual) you better use public proxies because they are free.

One example that comes to my mind is scraping. You can use public proxies to scrape any website.
