Hey,

I have a friend that recently opened up a small business providing with window cleaning services. He asked me If I can help him out and build a Wordpress website. I have done it before couple years back and decided to help him out. Budget is strict, and I thought that I can use cracked themes and plugins. The site should be very primitive, nothing super fancy or anything like this and would mainly be contact info, some past work examples and client review page , booking form - very primitive stuff. There won't be any payment processing or selling on the website. Would you do this with cracked themes and plugins, or it won't be safe. I've heard outside BHW, that is is a big no-no, as it would make site security risks , viruses ,malware etc ,but in my personal experience, nothing like that happened ,and everything was fine. Noted , that this is in Europe and not in US. Like 60% people use everything cracked , from Windows to Office and even Spotify :D
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Thank you!

I use nulled/cracked plugins and themes when in the early stages of development or exploratory stages. I do this to determine if the plugin fits my client's need because you can't tell from a sales page how good a plugin really is until you begin to use it. If you're building auto blogs or spam blogs in bulk and need to use a premium plugin across many sites, then it can also be helpful to use cracked licenses. Basically, for throwaway projects I think cracked/nulled plugins are perfectly fine to use. For my clients, if I do end up needing a premium plugin then I pay for it and bill the client. For sites used to make money, and for your friend who has their own small business then cough up the money and use it as a business expense. Most plugins you're talking about $20-$200 per year and if you're a "business" that can't afford that, well... a client with no money is not really a client I would want to have.

Make sure to use a solid source for pre-activated themes and plugins. @NulledCode is offering a legit service. I always recommend to buy the original version after testing to support the original developer and future updates.

I wouldn’t bother. You will only need a simple and fast theme. Most of the plug-ins you need will have free versions.

then even the free themes on Wordpress will do you for what you are after

If you want a bit more slimseo

Optinised the images offsite and you are free legal and worry free.

There are legit websites to buy very cheap nulled themes completly working virus free. I have used them several times and got plugins and other wordpress themes. Do a quality google searcha and I'm sure you will find several.

I use them all the time, just make sure you're getting them from a reliable source or you're running a huge risk, especially on sites that take payments.

I share same view too. There are free versions which by far are better than cracked versions as regards safety and security. This is from my experience for over 15 solid years. I f you are a web development expert like me, you may decide to tweak the codes in such free themes to achieve what you want. You can decide to develop themes from the scratch too. This are tips from me and what I do most times. If you have the cash, you may decide to buy plugins and themes in their premium forms

I half agree with you, but for plugins like FluentCRM for example, the pro version is need for exporting your contact lists alone. For clients, yes I would add this to their invoice, but for personal projects I'd rather use a nulled version as it will get very costly to use on a lot of projects ($399 per year to use on more than 5 sites).
