Hi, i have signed up for crackrevenue and i made my 100$s so i can now request these payment by USD checks? can i cash these checks in my local bank? What are the fees? I am from INDIA

just one more question- is there any indian who receives checks from crackrevenue? How much time does the check takes to arrive?

can anybody help me out here?

Most of the banks support that ( and encourage that as well). I have cashed US cheques from Axis bank, ICICI bank, HDFC bank etc. But the branch needs to have Forex dept to be able to cash that. It takes 20-25 days for the money to reach your account so be patient.

I used to submit checks to my SBI branch , after 3-4 months the branch manager called me and told to use another bank as my checks were a hassle for them.
Since then ICICI has been very smooth. I have had no problem with them. Just check for the nearest "foreign currency branch" on their website.
never used crackrevenue .

So will it be better to create a paxum account and get the payment via paxum?? but i think paxum will also send usd checks only, wiring is quite expensive. Why do people not use paypal, paypal is so easy. :(

Took me 2 months to clear adsense check in USD using ICICI bank. It was worth the wait though encashed the check when dollar hit the highest point luckliy :)

Hi,

It's better to prefer Lakshmi Vilas Bank. Their processing time is very less. They cash in 7 working days. I had a problem with HDFC and ICICI for clearing.

it will take 30-45 days for check to clear and most banks take 10-15$ for foreign check clearing

i have no worries about the time. even if it takes 2 months. But i have a bank account in my local Canara bank, can i deposit the cheque there? will it be cleared?

I am thinking i should wait a month and get 500$ and then do a wired payout, that would be easier then cheque right?

On behalf of Her Majesty the Queen and the whole of Great Britain:

*cheque

LOL typical govt bank attitude i must say. Axis bank guys were rather pleased to see me submitting a USD cheque because it would bring them some money for the exchange ( or something similar..not sure). The guy even said " please use our branch for these cheques in future". Since then I have used their service only. Govt banks suck......

Only if your branch has Forex dept. Wired payment takes 4-5 days so yeah, a lot of time saved..

Wow what bank do you use? It used to take more than 20 days for me too (I don't receive by cheque anymore. Wire payment is much better).
what? hardly takes 5-6 days for me

In that case use cheque only. Not sure how much your bank will charge for the clearance, but Axis bank doesn't charge too much atall. Go with them if you like..
