does anyone know of a good usa supplier with copied dvds such as the ones that come from china? i have a chinese supplier that has wonderful dvd prices that offer high margin but i dont like the shipping time or the risk that my shit can get stuck in customs?

You realize that selling these (if they are truly copies of copyrighted DVDs) is completely illegal, right?

Just because you've purchased them from somewhere (as opposed to burning them yourself) doesn't remove the legal issue.

I've used Baker and Taylor for authentic titles that are NEW.

They ship extremely fast and provide real-time inventory information. I am in Texas, so it was easy for me to source from their Chicago and Dallas warehouses. Thus, listing what inventory they had in these two locations (without actually buying it first) worked fine.

I then found a HUGE source for used DVDs - the downside to these are you need to clean/polish them and they do not come with cases. However, the price is stunningly cheap.

A local Blockbuster was doing one of those going out of business sales last month..was getting season sets for $12.00 that were normally $50. I'd look out for these type of store closeouts.

Hi

Why not contact me? I am Chinese ,DVD source.I would like to share my experience with you.lol

I have a good source for Adult DVDs. Dropshipping or wholesale in bulk lots prices down to 60 cents a title for some. All legal copies too :)

FYI, if you are worried about shipping time and the risk of the parcels getting stuck in customs, that is only the beginning of it!!! Once the parcel gets stuck in customs, you might very well have a USPS Postal Inspector come knocking at your door with your parcel in his hand and ask you about these DVDs!!! I am assuming you will be shipping these DVDs out of your state and if so, this could very well become a FEDERAL CASE and then every lawyer in your city will charge you upwards of $10,000 to take on your case just because it is Federal... Just my 2 cents.................

you can usually d/l the artwork from torrents, or newsgroups like alt.binaries.boneless or alt.binaries.dvdr or just search binsearch.info

then get a Brother label printer that does DVD labels

???

profit

dunno about accepting large quantities of counterfeit DVDs tho to my PO box, hella risky. i'd just make them up myself by downloading the image and burning them en masse.

just tell him there for you and your family
Yes Inspector, those100 copies of Inglourious Basterds, 60 copies of Zombieland, 20 copies of The Proposal, 60 copies of Transformers, 100 copies of District 9, 140 copies of Saw VI, 100 copies of Public Enemies, and 80 copies of The Time Traveler's Wife are for me and my families personal use.

I'm sure he'll believe you. LOL. Besides that, pirated copies aren't even legal to buy for personal use. Either way you can get in a lot of legal trouble if you are caught.

just become your own drop shipper, or have your Chinese drop shipper send DVDs through a mail forwarding relay, like http://www.hollandoffice.com or something where they will put it in a new envelope and re-address.

burn yourself:

go to http://www.vcdq.com/ (vcdquality) and find a release you want. comes with NFO's so you can verify what region the release is or if PAL/NTSC. or search the hundreds of .NZB sites like binsearch for movies

then get a premium newsgroup account. these are like $12USD/mth, unlimited.
download your warez through SSL (offered by almost all newsgroup companies for free, never receive any letters). i use newsleecher for this, with around 10 connections and I get a 4G DVDr in about 1hr. or use private torrent trackers, and get a shared seed box. FTP the DVDs from your seed box to yourself.

burn the DVDs with either a mass producing duplicator http://www.produplicator.com/
or some sort of hacked together system you've made yourself with multiple cheap chineez/BenQ dvd burners. almost all releases come with subs and artwork. get your own label printer for $80 and pump out labels for the DVDs/cases

congrats you are now a drop shipper.

*note if you encrypt your drives holding the images, make sure you don't use full HD encryption it doesn't work. just google Max Ray Vision if you don't believe me, they cracked his 5TB server easily and he was a master hacker/carder. there's many exploits for full drive encryption, just use encrypted folders/partitions
