Hi,

I recently purchased a Lycamobile USA Prepaid Sim Card to get organic US audience on TikTok. I already factory reset my old iPhone, changed the region/language to United States and activated the SIM Card for registration verification on TikTok. However, I tested and uploaded a few videos to see where my audience is coming from and it seems like most of them have Russia names from me checking my notifications.

Am I doing something wrong? I'd appreciate any useful information!

Sim doesn't have to be activated in order to reach US. Are you from Russia or did you use any russian sounds? That could be one of the reasons why you're getting russian followers. Also make sure to turn on your analytics and check them when you reach 100 followers to see exactly where your followers are from.

No, I'm not from Russia nor used any russian sounds. I'm from Singapore. It's really weird because I found out someone from here went through the same exact thing as me. Not sure why there are mainly russian viewers.

Following things should be checked
Region setting .
IP you are using to upload content.
Music/Sounds should be from the same region you want traffic from.

Region setting has always been United States since the start,

I've never tried changing my iPhone IP, any idea how to?

In my opinion this is the right way

For casual use, VPNs are more than enough for TikTok, but if you plan to do more than just browse there on your time, then you'll want to consider services like proxies where you can get residential IPs. Best use case for that sort of thing is usually 4G proxies.

Shall I use a VPN?

as cafey says use a resi or 4g clean proxy

I actually plan to upload content for my clothing brand, not really for casual use. Will give the advice you guys gave a try! Thank you

Last question, can I use my main phone for this with TikTok accounts that's from my country or does it have to be a new/used phone that's been factory reset?

Turned off location services, didn't work. Anyways, everything I did didn't work until I used the US Sim Card on my main phone device with VPN activated. Thank you all
