I'm an US seller, can I list some items on ebay uk? Is there a problem? (I don't think that is a problem, but I want to make sure :cheer2

You can but you need to get some to handle the stock over there and it is a seperate account you have to open. I am lucky I have family over there who work for me.
I list on both USA and UK but don't live in either!
Of course you can list your product as international shipping and hope they find you at amazon.com.

so, I'm thinking to log in using my US ebay account and list my items, and ship from US to my customer in UK. I don't wanna create a new account, since I need to build feedback and things like that...

use the sell internationally option and just pick the uk - you sales will show in ebay.uk results.

As a powerseller on eBay UK, I can explain little bit
There are two ways you can sell to UK market
1. You can use "international visibilty" . How do you do this? List your item normaly in US and select international visibilty and then select UK or CA or Australia. You pay small fee for this on top of your listing fees . So your item will show up in US and UK.
2. You login to UK eBay site with your US details and list the item on UK site. You pay UK listing fee for this.
Only problem is that when someone see your listing then he/she will know that you are based in US and items are located in US. So the buyer will think about shipping, taxes etc before buying from you. Can you offer better deal than someone selling similar item in UK?
Also it is against eBay TOS to show false item location i.e. you can list on UK and say the item is located in UK if it is not. Trust me, eBay will find out and your account will get banned.

I'd like to do the second option, and yes, I will state the item as being located on US. I wanna post on UK because there is less competition than US for certain items and looks like ebay on UK care less about what you sell...
If I do that, listing the item as located on US, will I have any problem?

No, you won't have any problem. But as I wrote before the buyer will think twice ordering from someone outside UK. I list items on CA and AU with item location UK.
BTW what type of product are you selling ? Are you interested in sales or feedback? Reason for asking is that would you be interested in doing some kind of JV?

i used to sell stuff on ebay uk all the time and i am in the us. some of the items went so high and left me with such a good profit margin i could buy them retail like at walmart here and still make good money.
