US Number to Verify Google Voice

Hi! Like it says in the title I need someone to let me verify the google voice account with a US number. The number can't be one thats been used before on google voice. I've tried smspva with 2 numbers and one from textplus and it keeps asking me to choose a number( meaning it didn't work I guess).
