US IG account issue

Hi, I'm from Eastern Europe, and I've tried to create a US IG account. I tried using LDPlayer9 and a VPN (dedicated IP but not residential), and my account was banned on the 2nd day. Then I tried with a new Android phone (without SIM) and a US proxy, and was banned after 3 days (I suspect the closed IG app running in the background detected my real IP ).
Some say it's enough to have a US SIM and to connect to local WiFi, other say you don't need a SIM only a US VPN or proxy. What do you think is the best solution? Thanks in advance!

So, IG weighs in quite a couple of factors that could cause bans like that. Your IP, device fingerprint, geolocation, SIM data if you use that, and it even extends to language settings (most other sites do so it would be surprising if IG doesn't factor that in). App behaviour also, but that's a given. If the system detects inconsistencies in one or more of those, you can expect to get that account flagged which may result in a ban.
Also based on experience, a US SIM does carry more weight than just a US IP alone where trust signals are concerned. That said, they both matter but the order of importance shows there.
Consider using a real mobile device since IG knows if you're on an emulator and they're free to use that information as they see fit. Avoid just any US IP like from datacenters or VPNs (even premium ones). Residential IPs are still up there for IG (mobile proxy or residential proxy, depends). Spoof your location and generally match the details of your device with what you'd expect it to be on US devices (time, language, etc.) A lot of the specifics are tricky and require some testing, adjustments, that sort of thing, but that should be it very broadly speaking.

I will let you know right now, we have done a check on 1000+ accounts; Instagram does not use IP to dictate who your content gets shown too. Instagram uses account engagement and other factors that are similar to harness USA users, for people residing outside of the US.
