US Facebook Groups

Good day BHW.

I have a question regarding GEO Location and Facebook Groups.

I am looking to join groups related to a Niche in the US but since I am from South Africa I only get local groups when doing a search.

Is there a way to get groups from the US?

Facebook search doesnt work like a normal search so it's difficult. You can try and add USA or any USA cities at the end of your search query or buy/rent a USA proxy and that would help. But you will still get lots of searches that are not closely relatd to your query.

That is the problem and with a proxy I will need a new account.

Why not get a US proxy and create a new account on it and just use that for searches. Or just buy one. Plenty in marketplace.

You can make a new account and use proxy.

For about 5.00 USD you can post in the HAF subforum and probably get someone to get you 5K groups as that is fairly easy to do using software.

Serious question: Do people target US traffic because they think we or dumb or do they think we a rich?

It's Tier 1 traffic and the profit is high. People from Tier 1 countries ( it's not just US in Tier 1; most of the countries in the EU are there + UK, Canada, Australia and some Asian countries, too) usually spend more money than people from Tier 2 and Tier 3 countries and advertisers pay more for this kind of traffic. Another reason for which everybody wants traffic from US is that it's the largest English speaking nation, with 350-400 million people (UK has has around 60 million, Canada - 30 million, Australia - 25 million etc).

So, to answer your question, US people are not dumber nor smarter than any other nation. But the US traffic is quite high in volume, speaks English and spends a lot of money (online).
Regarding richness...I don't know...but the highest profits I've seen across a few verticals were actually coming from Northern Europe (Norway, Sweden). But here it's just my experience with a few veritcals, I don't know for sure if Northern Europe is the richest region in the world.

In your case, investing in a USA-based 4G proxy would be the best way to bypass geo-blocks/restrictions. You can search in the forum's marketplace or start a "Want to Buy" thread for quick responses.
