.US domain. What is it good for

I am developing a site that is dedicated to a certain group of film fans, with a little content. It won't be targeted to USA residents only, but the .us is part of the game of words and its name, including of course the pronoun 'us'. Any thoughts?

well, i like to use them but not for business at all. Just for other purp.
