.us domain for porn site?

Is it safe to use a .us domain for a porn site? I've only seen a few porn sites use it. But I looked at the rules and they allow anything legal as long as its registered by a u.s. citizen,resident or a company with a presence in the u.s.

I took a look at the rules, too. It looks like you're right. My guess is the .us domain isn't that popular anyway, so it follows that only a few porn sites use it.

If the rules say this then you can. There is no harm. I never noticed any porn site using this domain. Maybe it is not that popular as much as other domains are.

I have a couple of .us porn sites and there has never been an issue. It is not used much because .us overall is not a popular choice for any type of site.

Should be fine, I wouldn't worry about it. You are always best to go for a .com or net though
