URL Sub Domain Redirect > Affiliate Offer

I wasn't quite sure how to ask this question.

Here's the situation:

In some YouTuber video descriptions, I see links that appear to be subdomains of their primary domain that redirect to affiliate offers.

Is that all this is below? Simply a subdomain, in this case, of the learnwirelinks(DOT).com domain? Or is there some other magic here that I'm unaware of?

I guess I see the point. It looks "prettier" than an affiliate link offer.
