URL Shortner Concept in 2017

Greetings -

Would like to get experts thoughts on using URL shortners for your tier 1 backlinks. I would be GSA/Scrapeboxing those url shortners to death.

From my understanding this was a good concept 2 years ago. What are the thoughts on that concept in 2017?

I think the new way is bouncing off 2.0 website to the sales website page .

You use the 2.0 as the link

The old way not working at all

Get ghosted or account or deleted
 
a follow up to my original post:
The url shortners that I use (bitly, google, bit.do, etc.) have the following impact on my tier 1 backlink rating:
  • Moz: shows up, and makes my page authority to be +40
  • majestic: shows up, but does not make any positive impact on trust flow
  • ahref: show up, it seems the effect is less than what it does within Moz platform . it makes the URL rating to be around +30
have you guys noticed similar results?

Unfortunately, i have no way of knowing if the URL shortners work or not. I think at minimum, they do not have a negative impact and could be a benefit. I say this for few reasons:
- they improve the backlink rating based on MOZ and AHREF scores
- even though they do not move the rating within Majestic, they don't increase the citation flow that much. If I was going to blast my backlinks with gsa/scrapebox, the citation flow would increase, while I would make minimal dent in trust flow; leading to poor score based on majestic.
- I think at minimum, there is a correlation between google serp and ahref/moz/majestic ratings; hence my above logic.
- I read supporting cases of url shortners within this forum; while the people who say it does not work, they dont provide a case. Not sure if you can even run a case on url shortners.
 
I've raved about this on other threads, and I do believe it has an impact in ranking. However, this isn't for new sites. I'd say that the benefit of using 301s comes from using these on your web 2.0s, as well as using them directly for parasites. I'm in the process just now actually of writing up a case studying regarding this very matter. In it, there's going to be three fiverr gigs used, one of which is mine, and two by two other sellers that I have had good results with this. When I've used this method before, it's been on parasites that I've let 'bed in' for a while (normally at least 6 weeks), so I'm curious how well a parasite can take a pounding with this method within a week of going live.

which url shortners do you prefer? bitly? google? bitdo? something else? Do you use multiple shortners form different providers towards the same web 2.0 site?

can you please PM the 3 fiverr gigs that you mentioned? thanks in advance
 
I was told if you use a link to a 2.0 then the link does not get deleted then you bounce from the 2.0 website to your sales/ website.

I was also told create a twiiter account then tweet a link to the sales/website post that twitter link to facebook /social

Bounce of other websites i was told..

Use them with a mixture of web2 and PBN and other 301s. Not GSA crap.

How to link back from a socail webpage with out getting ghost or link ban what we are trying to work out....

All of the above and some other ones added in. One of the most important things though is the quality of the content of the web 2.0/parasite. I've tried it with spun content and the results were shite, even though it had been up for a long time. With the parasites I'm ranking, these are well written, but with a higher than normal number of times keywords are mentioned. Blasting them with GSA has worked well for me, but from what I've heard, not with others. Sent you a PM.

May I ask, what software did you use to make the spun content?
 
I had someone away from this forum create the spun content for me using word AI (supposedly). Spun content is great for powering up a parasite, but when I want to rank one I always use high quality articles that I write myself since I want people to read it and convert.
