Url Redirect Effect

Hello to all!

I have an auctioned domain with lots of quality niche backlinks and famous newspapers links as well. I am intending to use it as redirect to money site instead of using as pbn. How long does it take to see the juice in money site? Are there any other things that should be done while redirecting. Thanks for your suggestions

It will be better if you set up a website on the domain first, let it index, rank it in top 50 for your keyword and then do the redirect.

Its better to use it as money site.

Link juice will be passed once the link is picked up by search engines and no exact time can take more than a week. In redirecting, passes link juice(sometimes not 100%) passed to the target site.

As that domain have strong backlink profile, use that as money site.

Redirection does not work always.

It is better to use it as money site. There is no guarantee that your site get rank after using redirect method ( both sites need to be same niche). If you really want to do redirect, then i suggest you to add some related content and leave it for 1 or 2 months. If the site get some ranking under 100 for some kw then you consider it for redirection.

Once again, it is better to use for money site.

The problem with 301 is most people do it wrong.

You should 301 each individual post, especially the ones left in the serps.

If you do it this way, perhaps your new domain could carry all the juice.

Before you do something, take time to understand what you're doing.

Redirecting a domain is not really very different to linking to the target site normally.

How long does it take Google to see the juice? The answer is the same as for normal links - once it has crawled them, possibly several times.

Want to speed it up? Get Google to crawl the pages that link to the URLs that are redirected.

How much power will be transferred? The answer is the same as for normal links - if the page that links to the URL being redirected is topically relevant to the page you're trying to boost, then more of the juice will flow.

Any other things? Anchor text matters. Make sure that the effect of redirecting the domain doesn't upset your anchor text ratios.
