URL forward trick, did anyone tried it?

HI,

I was reading upon an article that looks very interesting to me and a very plausible way to get quick cash to get things going.

I am interested in trying this technique but did anyone tried this before? and so yes is the return of this technique profitable?

All depends on the type of traffic that the url is getting,

You dont want a domain name called newyorkautorepairdotcom and promote health products.
 
I really don't think there are a lot of domains with lots of traffic just hanging around there waiting for you to register them.
 
Seems like you assumed that there were just websites with a lot of traffic. Most of them have been bought up or being bid on. Good luck.
 
i actually found a domain and after research on Alexa it had 42M, and expired yesterday......
 
But you can't take it now. Some registrants hold the domain for more than one/two months after expires. There is a first period for the actual owner to renew, another period for the registrant auction the domain (you can take it here but you will have competition) and... I think that domain will never pass this step.

now i see that 42M is the rank on Alexa wich is bad.

i thought 42M was the traffic it was getting hmmm....

is there a way to discover how much traffic a domain was getting before exiration or deletion?

i already want to apologise if i seem to ask dumb questions, but hey im here to learn.
 
At least you've got a good sense of humor. You'll need it if you want to really make $$ with IM.

Yh i just realise i need to learn alot and dont want to rush into things before getting more knowledge.

and i do know i will fall on my face many times but hey its all about keep trying and i firmly believe if u dont give up in the end the reward will come.

and selfrelativation is needed in this sector imo :)
