If there is a God, please send some wordpress guru to save my ass.

This is a site for a client and I have very little time to solve the problem > after I wasted whole day searching google for answers.
What it needed to be done was take a site from domain x.com move it to y.com and change the hosting too. I did this almost perfectly but I need to make some changes to the site and I cannot access the wordpress panel. When I go to y.com/wp-admin and enter credentials, it shows one of the errors: 500, 502 or 504 > all about taking too long to load.

This is what I did so far:
The previous webdesigner was kind enough to give me ftp access but not full rights wp panel access to the old site. I transferred the whole site from old host to my desktop and from my desktop i uploaded it to new site.
Set up a new database and I updated the wp-config.php accordingly. Edited the new website address in wp_options where it needed (2 changes).
There were 2 admins created by the previous webdesigner, one admin (which I have credentials for) and another superadmin. I went to wp_users and copyed superadmin, changed name and entered a new MD5 encrypted pass.

The site works, but I cannot access WP panel. The only visible change is that it changed the background for the nav bar.

This is not a hosting problem since I have other similar wp websites on the same hosting account with no problems accessing wp panel. Also I tried 2 different hosts.

It keeps showing this error: "Request Timeout
This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it shouldn't be timed out, please contact administrator of this website to increase "Connection Timeout"."

    Help me please :dong:

I have ran into this problem before, pay attention to your wp-config and .httpaccess files, you say you have in you post. But, go through it again carefully.

MrBlue was kind enough to sort this shit out for me. It took longer than expected, after I messed up some things and he will get a money reward this afternoon. Also I'd like to thank Disloyal, he gave me few minutes of his own and a few ideas. Unfortunatily I was not experienced enough to solve it myself.
