Advertise on BHW
Download Combofix.exe from http://bleepingcomputer.com and place it on your desktop. Run it and follow all instructions. Don't click on any suspicious pop-up boxes not directly associated with Combofix. Disable Norton if you have it(it can easily become infected and become the source of viruses).

It can take from 15 to 30 minutes to complete depending upon the level of infection. Combofix may ask you to allow it to download and install Windows Recovery Console. Do it.

After Combofix finishes and the log pops up, you should reboot your system and go into Safe Mode with Command Prompt by pressing F8 early in the re-boot process.

The command prompt will already be in C:\Documentsand Settings\Your username\Desktop\

Type "combofix.exe" without the quotes

Combofix will run again but this time before viruses get a chance to load.

Be patient and wait until it is finished and the log pops up.

Re-start you computer and download Avast free antivirus and do a complete scan.

Delete all viruses found

If you still have some minor problems, study the Combofix log report, (especially the invalid registry entries) and click Start\Run\

Type in regedit and use the find function to find invalid keys. Be careful deleting registry keys. If you have doubts that a certain key is virus-related, don't delete that key.

Edit: Now I know why you want to clean your PC, but is that hosting is the one screwing you, wont they have proof? Like pictures,documents stating when you bought the compromised domains, etc. Is this is the case destroying your PC is going to be useless, as most of the evidence is online. And next time please write something like "Need help, copyrights issues" that way most of us wont think that you are a sick fuck :rolleyes:

Mate,before getting worried about beeing caught,the only sollution that cleans ALL marks is this.Get a Bootable Windows CD,when they ask you in what partition to install it,delete all the partition and then create new ones.This way,nothing remains on the hard disk. ;) Oh,and if you done something related to carding,just change your network adapter too :D i don't think you spoofed the mac address.
 
What hosting company were you with? Anonymous offshore hosting is an absolute must if you're profiting from other's copywrited material...or viewing illegal content.

No no no. Biggest misconception and worst advice in this thread. Deleting your partitions and data does NOT permanently remove the data from the HDD, as most of it can and will likely be recovered. Data that isn't DBanned is recoverable after 15-20 formats... it's pretty ridiculous actually. And even if he 'spoofed' his MAC address, he likely didn't change all of his HID's on all of his other hardware.

Best advice given in this thread was suggesting you physically get rid of the hardware, as a lot of the data you try and get rid of will be recovered if the right agency gets their hands on it. If you physically DESTROY the HDD, the only bit of evidence that is left is what was on the hosts end, and ISPs end (and in which case, can be fought in court if they have no physical proof on your end.)

DBAN is the ONLY method that could potentially rid him of any recoverable data, however there are no guarantees with even that.
 
If you get sued you risk judgements and legal fees worth $xx,xxx

destroying hard drive - getting a new one costs $xxx

seems a no brainer to me.
 
As others have stated formatting the harddrive WILL NOT DELETE EVERYTHING. There is software that does it but screw that. Put that bitch in the microwave for a good amount of time then dispose of it. HDD is a dime a dozen.More then likely your over reacting like most on here do (unless you just pulled off the largest credit card heist in history) but for your nerves. Microwave...Dispose....End of story.
 
Just put your Hard Drive on a Powerful Magnet....and you will be fine..:D

If you don't mind, the term "blackhat" isn't automatically synonymous with with illegality so don't assume that everybody here is somehow engaged in some illegal activity or other. Far from it I think.

Speaking for myself only, I know I am no better than the next person, but I obey all our laws.

Blackhat for me means that I don't obey Google's laws (edicts) unless I think they are right, not that I am a member of some punk club of con artists and criminals.
