Corey I am really surprised they didn't ask for screenshot. If you can't prove you have done the method yourself they usually don't buy. That's my experience.
I assume you have sold products prior to and probably helped out a few people on threads, so, you were already trusted and they just bought because they know you.
A great experiment would be a fresh DP account with no screenshot, no rep, no nothing, and if you can sell on DP and make quick cash I will bite. DP aint what it is cracked up to be. I think your success and the OPs come from experience on DP.
I might be wrong,but, that's my feeling about this.

They claim I "Double posted" WELL GOD DAMNIT I WAS ANSWERING CUSTOMER QUESTIONS!
Funny thing was, I got banned JUST AFTER giving away review copies.

me thinks selling ebooks on dp is just not as effective and cash rewarding even as good as a few months ago- unless it something very unique & appealling, you give out free reviews, you get 4-5 good reviews posted from long time members with evidence the method works, the price is not too expensive and ......... you dont get banned for some lame reason lol so harder work than you would think

Yeah, I just couldn't go in anymore details about my topic. Maybe I'll post it on a blog or something. I find it hard to find a niche to write about that hasn't been written about in every other product. The ones I thought of... looked around here, WF, DP, etc and found them already covered.
