【Urgent Issue】How The Broken URL Damaged The Restored Website

Hi All,

I am just wondering how to handle the broken urls after recovering the website by install tools from archive.org

As we already have known that archive could not restore each of page，so after the recovering some of internal links are invalid，only could use 301 to redirect to homepage.

This is the currently method I done，but my website has too many internal links are invalid，I am afraid of it has some negative effect，hence，should I remove the urls and keep the anchor therein or I should still do the 301 for all of the missing internal links.

You can try to create those broken pages.
You can get a guess of content by looking at url.

You will probably manually have to go through each one, best way anyway.

Yeah, I was about to say this too. There are tools that will do a good restore from Waybackmachine, but if not, just go ahead and do it manually and ensure that the links are all working.
