urgent! help w/ ebay refunding!

I had to refund an auction payment yesterday and im not sure if i did it correctly

i went to paypal, issued refund in the tracking history, but now ebay reads this:



did i do soemthingw rong? Was I supposed to issue a refund via ebay or what? I did it all through paypal.

this guys being a real douche, i need an answer to this fast...basically "How do i refund an ebay auction properly" D:

*edit* i see an option next to the auction info that i can "mark payments recieved"

do i need to do that? that doesnt sound right cause then it slike he DID still uprchase the item..not sure wtf to do here...

could really...REALLY use an answer asap...

you have refunded him correctly, that is why it is showing as awaiting payment

you now need to get your ebay fees back for the sale

you can send the customer the paypal refund ID by email and tell him he has been refunded in full

you did it right, just wait for the payment to get cleared, your buyer has already got an email from paypal that you have refunded him.
