Urgent Help Needed To Edit Genesis Theme

Hi guys
i just installed genesis framework on my blog and using child theme.
i want to change its background color,change the color of menu, etc

but i dont know how to do it. i tried it using editing css file but cant do it.

so please help out for this issue.

aaaam... Why not download firebug (addon for firefox) You can check where the properties of the css are located within the page and you can edit it live directly on the spot

Just my 2 cents

thanks for reply but i want to know how to edit css file and other files.

Open the style.css file in the child folder and edit the color: hexadecimal number.
